Lucid Within the Dream

I used to be one with 
my body and mind,
reacting, planning, rejoicing, aching.

Now I see —
I’m the Dreamer,
and this human form —
is my lucid dream.

Dream — so vivid,
the characters — so convincing…

Oh — how easy it is
 to forget oneself.

But when I listen — 
my heart whispers —
“Remember who you are.”

Awaken again…
The dream softens—
and my humanness bows
to the Dreamer within.
